What's in the name?

The name Follett Parker is inspired from Mary Parker-Follett, a management and leadership theorist, and philosopher from the turn of the last century.

She was a social scientist, anthropologist and a pioneer of integrative negotiation, and she was far ahead of her time in her thinking and practical application of concepts that are familiar to us today: ‘win-win’ solutions, and, ‘power with’ rather than ‘power over’.

A timeless pioneer, Mary Parker-Follett inspires us every day.

A word from our Founder

I believe in honesty, authenticity and kindness.

As a keen advocate of diversity, equity and inclusion, I have long wanted to play a part in the talent search ecosystem given its importance in designing organisational cultures and values.

The idea of Follett Parker started as an academic research project when I was at Business School, a few years ago. I wanted to be part of a business with strong sustainable and ethical credentials and tangible commitment to people and the planet. B Corp status is one way to make sure there are high levels accountability in the decisions we make, right from the start. I am glad to be in the process of applying for B Corp Pending status.

I believe that everyone deserves an exceptional experience and this is what we aim to deliver to everyone we serve. My desire is to help others fulfil their ambitions, both by helping clients to find the best talent possible, and, individuals manage their careers in finding them great organisations.

I believe in integrative negotiation, and love coming up with creative solutions to help solve problems. I look forward to working with organisations who are conscious of their impact... on people

and planet, to help you enable your great teams to grow and prosper.

Sandra Hatugari is formerly a senior marketer with broad experience gained in multinational organisations, and most recently spent 7 years within a global Private Equity firm.


Sandra holds an MBA from Warwick Business School.
